General
Rules 1. We have separate hostels for girls and boys. Both are being managed by efficient and capable wardens and teachers. Boys/girls should pay 1900 for girls, 2200 for boys for food and accommodation. Fees should be paid on or before 5th of every month. From 5th to 10th a fine of Rs 10 per day should also be paid and Rs 25 from 10th to 15th. After that defaulters are not allowed to stay at the hostel. 2. Students should pay Rs 1000 as caution deposit which will be refunded when they leave the hostel. If they do any harm or damage to the hostel, this amount will not be refunded. They should also remit admission fee of Rs 250. 3. Food item is as follows. Early morning milk coffee. Then breakfast Rice and delicious curry for lunch coffee and snack of biscuit or vada in the evening Rice and curry for supper meat on Sunday fish curry everyday egg curry once in a week every Friday only vegetable meals. During the time of fasting and penance students are given food according to their wish. 4. Students will not be permitted to leave the hostel and live at other places after they started their living in the hostel. 5. Those who are found weak in any subject will be given tuition. For this they have to pay Rs 500/- for every three month. In addition to the teachers who are living with the students, we will arrange the service of other teachers for the tuition classes. 6. Students should keep classrooms, hostel and bathroom clean. They themselves should be neat and tidy. We should insist on neatness and cleanliness in regard to their books and personal appearance. They should respect school authorities and staff at all times. They should be gentle and polite to their companions. 7. Mobile phone and intoxicating items like liquor, cigarettes are not allowed. 8. Visitors time is from 4pm to 6pm. Parents who seek information or make any complaints or those who feel that their child does not make the desired progress may contact the director. Visitors come without the consent of the parents or guardian will not be allowed to see the students. 9. Contact by telephone is allowed from 8pm to 9pm. At other times it is attended by wardens. 10. Without any grave reasons, Parents are not allowed to take their children to their home. If it is necessary, safe arrangements should be made by the parents to take their children home. 11. Students will have ten days holiday at Onam and Christmas. It is declared firmly that there will not be any fee concession during those days. Fee concession is only to the students who have been absent for 30days continuously. In such cases hostel rent of Rs 1100/- should be paid. 12. Students can go out for shopping only with the Wardens once in a month. 13. Any type of communication or letters addressed to children will be censored if we have any doubt about it. 14. Violation of rules and regulations of the hostel and college will result the dismissal of the student concerned. 15. Daily routine is as follows. Get up at 5.30 study upto 7.30 after primary necessities and prayer from 7.30 to 8 time for newspaper reading then study upto 9.30 Breakfast is in between 9.30 and 9.50 then preparation for class morning session from 10 to 1 then lunch from 1 to 1.30 afternoon session from 1.30 to 3.30 then coffee with snacks and then rest from 5 to 7.30 time for studying from 7.30 to 9.15 time for prayer, food and rest then studying upto 11pm. At the time of examination study time may be extended. 16. Money should not be lend or borrowed or dress exchanged. Management is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable items like expensive watches and ornaments of gold. 17. Parents should attend the meeting whenever it is held and they should follow up the progress of their children. Their practical opinions and suggestions are of great value to us. 18. Students are allowed to visit the place of worship according to their belief with wardens on Sundays. 19. Cinema and T.V programmes are prohibited. 20. If there is any infectious disease at home, parents never send their children to the hostel till the state of danger is over. Students should sign on the register when they want to go out. We take all possible care for the safety of the children.
